Tour around one of Delhi’s oldest forts, Purana Qila, which has a citadel built during Humayun and Afghan Sher Shah Suri. Many believe it is the former site of the ancient city of Indraprastha. The Qutub Minar which is India’s tallest minaret located in the oldest fortified city of Delhi, Lal Kot, was built between 1199 and 1220.

After getting all your needs, we’re going to India Gate which is a war memorial to 84,000 soldiers that died during the First World War. The foundation stone was laid on 10 February, 1921. We’ll make one last stop at the Laxmi Narayan Mandir which is where Vishnu’s incarnation, Laxmi Narayan, and his consort Lakshmi, resides. It was completed in 1939 and is about three-storey tall.

Day 3 Transfer from Delhi to Agra with sightseeing
- After breakfast, we set off to Agra. Enroute, we’ll stop at Sikandra, the burial ground of Akbar the Great. This suburb was made into a complex by Akbar’s son, Janhangir, with the purpose of serving as Akbar’s final resting place. The design was done by Akbar the Great himself, which reflected his personal value of acceptance of varying culture and religious values.
- Agra is probably most known by the symbol of immortal love that became one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal. The mausoleum is built with ivory-white marble, surrounded by the beautiful 17-hectare Mughal Garden. Then we’ll visit Agra Fort, which also bears the same title of Red Fort, built in the 16th century. You also don’t want to miss Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, another beautiful mausoleum that received the title “Jewl Box.” It is believed to be the draft or prototype of the Taj Mahal and is also often called the “Baby Taj.”
- We check-in at the hotel upon arrival and return in the evening after a half-day sightseeing in Agra to rest.
Day 4 Day Excursion to Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur
- Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we go on an excursion. Today’s trip takes us to Fatehpur Sikri, known as the dream city of Akbar the Great. It was founded as the capital of Mughal Empire in 1571 and is now known as an abandoned city. The UNESCO World Heritage Site brags gorgeous, preserved buildings and structures bathed in the color of the red sandstone used to construct them.
- We’re going to explore the complex and visit the palace of Jodha Bai Mahal that’s the largest residential palace in his harem for his favorite queen consort. The Jama Mosque in Fatehpur Sikri is a 16th century mosque and one of the largest in India. There’s also the Buland Darwaza or Door of Victory, built in 1575 after his win against Gujarat, a door that serves as the main entrance to said mosque. It took 12 years to finish, made of red sandstone, white and black marble. The Panch Mahal which means “Five-Level Palace”, might have served as a site for entertainment and relaxation. Make a stop at the Tomb of Salim Chishti which is considered to have one of the finest Mughal architecture in India.
